The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
Lovely room, so quiet at night. Secure, very comfortable. Not a 'posh hotel' but it was clean, well appointed (nice bed, bedlinen, towels, toiletries etc, furniture) and def a good size - plenty of room.
Food is wholesome, tasty, plenty of it. No complaints at all.
Public recreation areas also v nice, met other guests both inside and outside.
Swimming pool is lovely - clean and a really good size. Never busy. Hot tub is a must if you're not used to riding for hours and need to ease muscles!

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
I honestly don't think you could have done anything more - even down to the phone call in the week before departure wish warm wishes for a fabulous trip. I really feel Rebecca went way beyond what she actually had to do. She had been to White Stallion before and could answer all sorts of my 'daft' questions, as well as offer wise advice and encouragement. She was genuinely interested in the plans and I am so grateful to her!
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
Nothing at all, all went without any hitches.

This whole trip has been utterly amazing. It was so reassuring to have the availability of Rebecca to help us choose from the options of different ranches in USA and I am sure we made absolutely the right choice. We were confident with our plans and we were not disappointed. Not one bit.

Christina (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) What An Adventure! | There are opportunities to ride up to 3 times a day - which I mostly did because of the range of rides available. Generally the rides out are categorised as 'slow' or 'fast'. Slow is at a walk, but through the most extraordinary scenery that you really do need to pass through steadily to see it all. Slow ones included the breakfast rides (a lovely spot with a hearty breakfast)and the mountain rides (where it gets fairly steep and views from up high are spectacular). Rides are offered from 1 hour to all-day. My companion and I were allocated horses on the first day, based on our stated abilities and we were not disappointed! Mine was a lovely responsive, forward-going Mustang (stuff of dreams) and there was never a moment of disappointment. He took me over mountain ridges and did cattle-penning beautifully (making it look as if I was in charge - I was not, it was all him and his skills!). I kept him for the week, but it is easy enough to change horses if you feel the need. Wranglers (who lead the rides) were fantastic. Horses look fit and well-cared for and everyone seemed very happy with their rides.
