Transylvania Trail - Romania

Cathryn (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Fantastic trip | The horses were really lovely- their care was the number one consideration for the team there. They were extremely fit and responsive, and I felt mine were well matched.
The riding was great- day one wasn't the best riding as you were passing around the edges of towns and there was some litter- but by day two you reached the open countryside and it was wonderful. The days were long and some fast riding so you need to be fit!
The countryside and scenery was absolutely incredible and the guides were very good.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The accommodation was generally very good- the second night it wasn't great as we all shared in a house. But the accommodation in Coborg and Viscri was very good.
The food was a very good standard- but a bit samey, there was a lot of pork, cheese and bread! a bit more fruit and veg would be great

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

It was all excellent! Super responsive and very helpful. I loved the itinerary we got and I referred to it several times on the trip. Thankyou!
