The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
The cabins at Hestasport are clean and warm but the bathroom facilities (one shower in our cabin which had 6 beds) are a bit limited. Would also have appreciated more comfortable seating rather than having to stay around the dining table. Stairs up to the bedrooms are very steep. The 'hot pot' was a real delight at the end of a long day's riding and the food was thoroughly enjoyable throughout.

The humour and professionalism of our guides was first class. They were safety conscious without stifling the fun and were great company throughout. Special thanks to Magnus for our private transfers, showing us some beautiful sights and sharing his knowledge of this extraordinary country.
Barbara who has been on 18 In The Saddle rides. Constant smiles despite the weather! | A great selection of forward going Icelandic horses which were all easy to handle from the ground and when being ridden. As expected, some were more comfortable than others, but as we changed horses part way through the day this was not an issue. I never cease to be amazed by the willingness, stamina and sure footedness of the Icelandic Horse.
