Borana - Kenya

Gillian (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) A truly wonderful experience | Riding at Borana was absolutely wonderful. The horses were in excellent condition, well mannered, and forward going. Our guide Nicholas took us on a different ride every day (we rode for 7 days) . We saw different terrain , lots of animals and had some amazing long canters & fast gallops.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

Borana Lodge is a wonderful place to stay. It is everything you could wish for in a Kenyan holiday and more.
All the staff go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and pleasurable as possible. We stayed in Room 2 which had stunning views and watched the sun rise every morning.
The food is to a very high standard with lots of lovely treats ,like home made cakes and cookies.
My daughter had her birthday when we were there and she was presented with a lovely home made cake.

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

The pre holiday information arrived in good time. The check list booklet was really useful.

How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?

Booking and payment was easy to do and all our e mail questions were answered by Becky promptly.

Do you have any other feedback for us?

This was our first riding holiday abroad and our first time in Kenya. I am just so pleased we chose In the saddle to book with and decided to go Borana. Everything was perfect.
