The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
My room was simple but very good space. However, it was mostly used to sleep in. The rest of the time I hung out in the common room with the other guests which was super cozy.
The food .. oh the food… If I could give a grade higher than Very Satisfied then I would have done it! I loved Italian food before my holiday, but the meals were served were simply amazing! Every day was new delicious meal, which were made from fresh good ingredients and it just tasted wonderful!
Now it was also a holiday with wine tasting and again I must say that it tasted great! The wine tastings were well organized, exciting and cozy. I ended up buying a few bottles to take home.
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
I also wrote it to you in one of my emails. I think you give good, accurate information and I did not feel insecure or in doubt at any point. In addition, you quickly answer any additional questions.
Do you have any other feedback for us?
Thanks again for your help on this holiday! You know how insecure and chaotic it all was before departure. I was very grateful that you took the extra time to take care of me.
I discovered that it was not bad at all to travel alone; you still meet a group at the destination. I could very well decide to take another "solo riding holiday"! Now I just have to figure out where I am to go next! ?
Rikke Selene who has been on 2 In The Saddle rides. I rode four horses, which I had not expected. I usually only ride my own horse, so having to ride several different ones was a challenge, but all the horses were super kind and easy to handle. Among the horses, I rode two older horses aged 17-18 and even though they had been in the business for many years, there was still lots of life, energy and joy in them. It was clear that the hosts take good care of their horses and take into account to offer them varied training (trail / arena) days off and turn-out time.
