There was a lot in the itinerary about riding with a herd of horses, but unfortunately we did not do this very often. Unfortunately, it didn't happen until the last day when the herd overtook us and we got a feeling of being with them. Otherwise, we rode after them, and they rode away on the first time we had a pause.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

It was good and nutritious food. But in the itinerary is says there would be Icelandic specialties, and we only got that on the last day. There was also something with a cheese table, and there were only two kinds; cream cheese and an ordinary firm cheese.

It is very strange that you are advised to vaccinate against typhoid. This wording should definitely be changed.

Do you have any other feedback for us?

We started the trip by waiting 1 hour in the bus terminal, because of the driver. The next day, which should have been the first riding day, there was a snow storm on the mountain and over 30 horses had gone lost into the mountains. They did their best to accommodate for us and compensated with an extra ride on the Friday. But it was an annoying way to start.
Overall it was a really good trip. It is absolutely fantastic to ride Icelandic horses in their natural terrain. It was fast pace over the terrain and the lovely horses were so good-natured. Amazing animals and it was a great way to experience Iceland on horseback and get into areas where no vehicles can go.
