Sierra Nevada Short Break - Spain

Maryna (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Perfect riding holiday | Riding was excellent, my horse was forward and lively, and very friendly. I like that the route was flexible and our guide Dallas could choose the path depending on the weather conditions and the wishes of the group.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

The lunch that Dallas cooked herself was the best food I had in Spain! She was very caring and payed attention to my vegetarian diet. I wish the restaurants that we’ve dined in learned a recipe or two from her, because most of the food in the restaurants was based on meat and fish, which looked excellent, but vegetarian options there were not always that good.

Do you have any other feedback for us?

Short Sulayr break was my first riding holiday, and surely not the last one. It was lovely! Before the ride, Lois helped me to make sure I have all the necessary stuff and advised me on what is needed. Everything was perfectly organised, and our guide Dallas was very helpful. Her horses are the friendliest creatures I’ve ever met, forward and lively, and well behaved. Dallas cooked our lunch, and it was the tastiest food I had in Spain. We saw beautiful views on our way and had lots of fun. Our group felt like a bunch of old friends, not least because of Rebecca from In the Saddle, who is very amiable and attentive to all the riders. I would definitely repeat the experience, maybe coming for a longer holiday next time.
