Riding Programme

The horses were absolutely fantastic - I was totally blown away by the high standard. Without doubt, the best I have ever encountered at a stables that caters for such a variety of riders. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

Excellent standard - the room was just lovely, with the balcony looking over the stables. I had such a good night's sleep and the best alarm clock hearing the horses eagerly anticipating their breakfasts! The human food was excellent too.

The staff at the hotel were mostly first class, however, they were clearly quite busy over the weekend and we heard quite a lot of moaning about being overworked (both in the stables, the spa and Conor's Bar). On occasions, this gave quite a negative impression (nearly verging on rude), which is a shame when the majority worked so hard to ensure you had a good stay.

Before Your Holiday

Did you have all of the information you needed to:

Plan and prepare for your holiday?
5 star rating
Feel comfortable about your transfers and what to expect?
4 star rating

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

May be issued a little earlier or if not in full, just the packing list allowing time for any last minute purchases to be made.

How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?

No improvements required - it was very well managed, with clear advice on when payments were due and how to pay.

Do you have any other feedback for us?

The assessment lesson on day 1 involved standing in the stirrups for several laps of the arena in both trot and canter to strengthen our 'soft seat'. It would be useful to be briefed of this in advance as even as a regular rider, it made my lower legs rather sore for the rest of the weekend.
