The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
Food was excellent and plentiful. Accommodation was great, basic but so long as you're prepared with the suggested head torch, power bank etc then you'll have a fab time.
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
The itinerary was quite "wordy", I would personally have preferred a timeline/table which detailed the activities of each day as it was a little unclear to visualise in that format. The posted pack was a lovely touch though and it was great that it included so much information included packing list, about visas etc.
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
In what ways could we improve the way in which we handled your booking and payment?: Very easy - couldn't think of any improvements.
Do you have any other feedback for us?
I had the most incredible experience, truly a one in a lifetime trip.
Lucy (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Most incredible experience. | The riding in SA was a mixture of walk and fast paced short canters for roughly 3 hours at a time. Terrain was almost sandy, with rocky hills - the canters were fast along tracks or weaving through bushes. Great fun.
The riding in Bots was a mixture of walking and long controlled canters, riding for approx 6 hours at a time. Terrain was dusty and rocky, with a lot of thorny bushes. Canters were either in open spaces, or through the bushes. Be prepared for long canters (they go on and on!).
