How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?

The difficult time of year most likely contributed to my booking experience, but it was frustrating being passed around different agents throughout the booking process. It was clear that new agents had not thoroughly read through the previous interactions because they would ask the same questions again or ask me to provide information I already had. Furthermore, what was and wasn't possible (riding days, transfers etc) seemed to change. I was told by one person that somethings were possible, and then later told by a different person that in fact they weren't possible. This was extremely frustrating and really drew out the process. [In The Saddle: We are really sorry that you were given conflicting and confusing information. Yours was a last minute enquiry the week before Christmas which coincided with a number of people being on our stand at Olympia. We normally always have one person handle an enquiry from beginning to end, but in your case that just wasn’t possible because some were working on the stand and then went on Christmas vacation. It was also complicated by the time difference between UK & New Zealand/Australia. We are glad that we were able to get everything finalised for you but are very sorry that you didn’t have the best booking experience.]
