The horses were incredibly well looked after. The whole team had a wonderful manner with them and it was clear their welfare was the highest priority. All were easily fit enough for this trail and were well matched to each rider. Every horse had its own fantastic temperament (some rather cheekier than others!) and the care they were given throughout was impeccable.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

A great variety of accommodation, from tents to traditional beehive huts and open-sided thatched rooms. The food throughout was delicious - the packed lunches were exciting, nutritious and full of the energy we needed for the ride - not a dry sandwich in sight! Dietary requirements were handled with care and attention, even when being cooked over a camp fire. The teams at every location and on the trail were amazing.

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

The combination of riding and game drives was wonderful, allowing us to get up close to wildlife both on horseback and in a vehicle as appropriate. ESwatini (formerly Swaziland) is a wonderful country where we felt welcome and safe, and the scenery was more varied than I expected, including at one point spectacular panoramic views to South Africa and Mozambique. We were looked after to the highest standard by Ann and her team and we saw everything from zebras, impala and bush babies to lions, rhino and elephants - not to forget the hilarious warthogs who call Mlilwane their home! For me this was the trip of a lifetime and I really hope to return one day.
