The Wild Coast does exactly what it says on the tin! The coastline is dramatic and breathtaking with incredibly beautiful stretches of natural beach.
The sea around this coast is powerful and demands respect - thrilling to watch and requires expert judgement around the tides which our lead guide (Shell) had in abundance. If you keep your eyes peeled you will see whales breaching and we were fortuitous to see dolphins riding the huge waves and playing in the swell.

The horses are extremely fit, are well cared for and love their work, making them a joy to ride. Be prepared for an accelerated gallop on the beach- the horses love it and absolutely fly. THE most exhilarating beach gallop we have ever experienced.

The setting at The Wavecrest Hotel is spectacular and the blend of beach, woodland and grassland riding makes this a very exceptional holiday. Julie-Anne has a remarkable team working with her who went out of their way to ensure we were catered and cared for. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was well organised and most importantly, they were lovely, generous and fun people.

Thank you Mel, Shell, Debs, Craig and Julie-Anne for creating lasting and awesome memories for us and of course a big thank you to Poppett and Tarika who were fabulous horses and stole our hearts.
