The Riding
The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
accommodation is relatively basic as expected. The farm where you start and finish is lovely, the hotel at St Bernard's Peak is also very good with lots of character rather than modern facilities. The two other lodges don't have many facilies eg electricity, but there location and atmosphere more than makes up for it. Food thoughout was much better than expected with wonderful evening meals and breakfasts. Pack lunches are sandwiches made usually with freshly baked bread.
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
None, as always very good.
Do you have any other feedback for us?
Another brillant holiday, and one I will repeat at sometime soon. I can't rate Lesotho and the friendliness of all the staff involved highly enough.
Rachel who has been on 14 In The Saddle rides. Amazing horses and country | Although not big the horses were brillant. I've been on many rides but these horses ability over rough ground is outstanding, sure footed ,willing and very sensible and yet quick when the terrine allows. This was a mixed pace ride, much at walk as you climbed and descended the mountains but then wonderful gallops on the mountain tops where the ground is relatively flat. All this whilst surrounded by amazing scenery.
Saddles also very comfortable and in good condition..
