The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
The accommodation was beautiful. Kevin and Lou had clearly thought about everything and the rooms were both well appointed and well cared for. I think all guests commented on how wonderfully comfortable the beds were and on the exceptionally high quality bed linen.
The food was frequent, plentiful and always beautifully prepared - we even got to try our hand at making some Argentine snacks as a bit of fun one evening.
Before Your Holiday
Did you have all of the information you needed to:
How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?
I'm not sure that you could. It was super - absolutely fit for purpose!
How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?
Again, I don't think you could. You guys are a delight to deal with.
Do you have any other feedback for us?
We were fortunate enough to have Lucy with us (working at Los Potreros as a guide on sabbatical). She was consistently helpful - she's a great advert for you (and for other holidays you offer).
Rosa who has been on 3 In The Saddle rides. Los Portreros - a little luxury within a warm welcome | All of my riding experience is in the English style and this holiday requires a very different riding style which it took a bit of getting used to. I'd encourage ladies to take advice on sports bras seriously. The Criollo horses were a little bit bouncy for me (I'm about 7 and a half stone) so it can be difficult to screw myself into a saddle, but the Pasos were wonderful.
The riding was at a varied pace and the mix of activities (standard hack / herding cattle / herding horses / gaucho games meant that it was kept interesting.
