The Accommodation
Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?
Lovely, luxurious tent and really appreciated the fan attached to the ceiling of the tent as the weather was pretty hot. Food was delicious and plentiful (think I put on weight despite riding 6 hours a day!).

Katie is an excellent camp manager and made me feel very looked-after but in a relaxed way. The whole atmosphere at Macatoo was lovely and easy-going at the same time as being very professional. All the staff there were excellent (very discrete but always around if you needed something). It's my first visit to the Okavango and in the non-flood season but am now thinking I probably need a return trip to Macatoo to experience the delta in flood.
Vivien who has been on 32 In The Saddle rides. Macatoo - Botswana | I rode a total of 5 horses that were all great, forward going and well behaved but I especially liked riding little Apache, very comfortable and super-speedy. Bongwe is a fantastic guide and I really enjoyed the long fast canters in the morning rides. Saw wild dogs on the first two days and leopard 4 times which was really special. Also witnessed hyenas tucking into a giraffe kill which was like being in a wildlife documentary.
