This ride did meet our expectations. The guides were very safety conscious and also were charming company. They couldn't have worked harder to meet our needs and give us a great experience. It might be worth mentioning to future riders that this ride is over hilly ground including sometimes steep inclines (up and down). This didn't worry us as we are used to that type of riding, but some people might find it a challenge. As ther had been some rain recently, some of the descents were tricky and a certain level of fitness is needed.

Rooms: Our 2 room apartment had a double and 2 twn beds, all of which were basic and tired. The apartment itself was basic and in need of a facelift. In particular, the shower was like something out of the 1960s and panels kept coming adrift. None of this was a particular problem for us, as we were really interested in the riding, not the accommodation.

Food: Best resort food we have ever had (riding or otherwise). The picnic lunches were so lavish as to be laughable. Eaten at tables and including a full buffet with wine? Well, our usual dayride picnic has been a sandwich and a thermos if you are lucky, so this was something of a surprise.

You pre-holiday information was fine. However we did get 1 piece of incorrect information in response to specific queries. We were told there was a microwave in the apartment: there wasn't. [ITS Comment: We are sorry that there was not a microwave in your apartment. We had requested this for you and were told that there would be one.]
