The horses were remarkable: tough, resilient, gentle, obedient.
I am not a very good rider and my horse was ideal for me.
The saddles were very comfortable.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

Some rooms were pure luxury, others were not but still remarkable given the circumstances.
The staff worked very hard to give us a maximum of comfort, making sure that we were warm enough in spite of the unseasonal snow.

The food was delicious, freshly cooked, nutritious, varied and the endless supply of alcohol a great bonus.
It is the best food I have ever had on riding holidays.

Before Your Holiday

Did you have all of the information you needed to:

Plan and prepare for your holiday?

Feel comfortable about your transfers and what to expect?

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

Perhaps by ensuring that the prospective riders are fully aware that this is a slightly tougher ride than average and that they must be fit enough to keep up the pace in spite of the rough terrain.
We were warned that fitness was necessary, but not everyone seems to have got the message.

How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?

I cannot think of any.
It all went very smoothly.

Do you have any other feedback for us?

This was an ideal ride, with great horses, comfortable saddles, stunning scenery, excellent food and a remarkable supply of drinks, from tea and coffee to brandy, gin and wine.

The organisers were outstanding. They were very attentive to each person's needs, went out of their way to keep us all happy, helped all the way from putting the saddles onto the horses to providing a wide variety of food and made sure that the most fussy eaters amongst us had what they wanted.
And they kept smiling throughout the trip!
