I thoroughly enjoyed my riding holiday at White Stallion Ranch. Despite having my own horse, this was my first riding holiday and my first experience of riding Western style. The hosts and wranglers at the ranch really made us feel welcome and put us at ease and I was delighted with the horse they matched me with - Moby - if only I could have brought him home 🙂 The riding was excellent, with a great variety of ride types including slow and fast rides, breakfast rides, beer and Cheetos rides, mountain rides, lessons and even ‘team penning’ - like One Man and His Dog but on horseback and with longhorn cattle. It was so much fun!! The food and accommodation were first class, as were the pool and ranch facilities. Many other guests we spoke to were regular annual visitors to the ranch and there was a real sense of friendliness and community there. Arrived as a guest and felt like I left as a friend. Fantastic experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

The food and facilities were excellent. Couldn’t fault them at all.

The information provided was very thorough and provided in a very convenient format which was easy to take with us.

How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?

I thought this was excellent. My only comment would be that I would have liked to have been copied on all the email communications from In the Saddle. I appreciate that I was booking with my friend rather than as part of a couple and that it’s helpful just to deal with one person, but it was just a little frustrating receiving forwarded emails from my friend on several points, including the email containing our itinerary. It would have been really lovely to have received this first hand from In the Saddle if Emma and I had both been copied on all emails. Not a major deal, but a point I thought worth mentioning.
[ITS Comment: Thank you very much for your feedback. We usually have one lead client on the booking that all communication is sent to and at the time of booking we weren't given your contact details. However I do understand that as a joint holiday you would have both liked to receive the same emails and so we will look into changing this practise for friends travelling together. Becky]
