Golden Circle - Iceland

The riding was a lot faster than I expected, there was virtually no walk but mostly tolt and gallop when needed to keep up with the herd - that was great and better than I hoped for and I felt throughout that we would have slowed down had the group required it.

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

Having HUGE (and needed after a long day in the saddle) portions of Margaret's home-cooked food was a delight. Many Germans incl.me in the group and we are known to eat a lot…All satisfied!
It took a while to find the 2nd shower/bathroom in Hvitadalur farmhouse - that could do with a sign on the door.

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

Everybody was very impressed with the lovely ringbound brochure I was sent. Neither the Germans nor the Americans had anything similar and our fantastic guide Rannveig showed it to our hosts.
Nailbrush was not needed, though - we were happily filthy.
Would have been helpful to know what a very modern country Iceland is and that ATM machines for getting cash are easily available and that card payment is accepted everywhere.

How could we improve the way we handled your booking and payment?

no problems

Do you have any other feedback for us?

It was a perfect holiday.
I never want to trot ever again - TOLT is soo comfortable. Lovely horses and lovely people in Iceland and Chris from In The Saddle was very very helpful and encouraging to an elderly lady. THANK YOU!
