Our guide was truly excellent at matching us with horses and demonstrated an in depht knowledge of every horse that was out on the trail with us.
(ITS NOTE: That’s great to hear, we are really pleased you enjoyed riding with Bree).

Do you have any comments about the accommodation and food?

On day 3 and 4, 5 of us had to share a room and bathroom because another family (outside our tour) was booked in the guesthouse as well. The organizers should have let the hosts know in advance that we wanted the whole place for ourselves.

(ITS NOTE: Many thanks for your comments & sorry to hear your expectations were not met in this element of your holiday. The guesthouse in Cobor is owned by the same couple who own Equus Silvania. The only accommodation on the Transylvania Trail which is used exclusively by the riding group is Mândra on day 2. On this trail, riders should be prepared to share rooms and bathroom facilities. We will review our information and endeavour to make it clearer).

How could we improve the quality of pre-holiday information that we send?

Yes. During the first two days on the trail we noticed a large number of empty plastic bottles on the grounds we were riding through. It was truly quite unpleasant. I would strongly suggest to the local operators that before the itinerant tour starts they send someone along the trail to collect the plastic items lying on the ground. It would take one person half a day with the car to do that and improve everyone's experience greatly. After the second day we started riding in very remote territories where the garbage on the side of the road was not so obviously irritating.

(ITS NOTE: Thank you for your comments, we will advise our partners in Romania).
