Paula (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Adventure on horseback in stunning coastal surroundings with excellent professional care and safety! | It far exceeded expectations. Rachel was extremely observant and was determined to fit the rider to the right horse -putting health and safety above all else. The horses were superb -fit, strong and responsive (and made us feel as though we were better riders than we probably were!) The leaders, front and back were attentive, kind to us (and of course, the horses) and encouraging - keen to help and intent on giving us a great day's ride. Galloping along the beach as the sun was rising was an unforgettable, exhilarating experience and coffee and toast in forest restaurant a close second!

Nikki (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) Excellent | All the horses that I rode were fantastic. Well looked after, responsive and fun to ride. The guides were brilliant, chatty and informative, but also happy to let you quietly enjoy the experience if that is more your thing.

Our group was of mixed ability and Rachel, Jose and Roberto managed to cater for everybody whilst also ensuring that the rides were safe.

Really appreciate them being so generous with sharing the horses.

Riding in the pinewoods was beautiful with good opportunity to canter / gallop (fire tracks). One of the pikes was the two trips to the beach, canter in the wet sand along the shore.

Riding down to the beach with a full moon to guide our way was very special, in order to get to the beach at sunrise for the low tide and empty sands for the best gallops.

The riding was a mix of all paces, allowing us to take in the scenery during the slower parts but also had lots of fast canters and gallops to keep it interesting.

Amazing Horses, Amazing Hospitality, Amazing Holiday | The riding was everything I could have wished for, from nice strolls through the forest to gallops on the beach. The horses I rode were super responsive and fit and obviously loved their job. Roberto and Jose were excellent guides and you could tell they truly care for the horses.

Elise who has been on 5 In The Saddle rides. Wonderful | Excellent riding - Rachel matches her horses to your riding ability. All are forward going horses and are well mannered. The riding is at all paces with some exciting canters and gallops. The ride leaders are brilliant - they look after every rider and are very safety conscious and make sure you are happy with your horse. This is the first time I have been in the summer in July and it was very hot so the ride is taken out early - from 6.45am onwards so it is cooler. We were back by lunchtime 12.30pm so riding in the forest in the morning is lovely - quiet and cool. Getting to the beach as the sun is rising is magical

Julia (this is their first In The Saddle holiday) An excellent holiday in a wonderful place. | The horses were all well trained, clean and well fed. The owners made sure that they were not overworked so we had to alternate horses on different days to give the others a rest.

The riding was amazing. Even though I canter and jump 4 times a week I was afraid to gallop but this experience increased my confidence and I ended up absolutely loving it.
