These highly personalised horse safaris explore the remote western region of Botswana’s Okavango Delta. The safaris are run by PJ and Barney Bestelink who have an intimate knowledge of the wildlife and ecosystems of the Okavango Delta acquired over the last 25 years. A unique feature of the ten night safaris is that you ride from Kujwana to two other camps in different areas of the concession and so you have the opportunity to explore a greater area and potentially see more game.

If a family of 4 or more book (2 adults, 2 children) – only 3 pay!
For a family of 4, that’s equivalent to a discount of 25% (saving of GBP 995). The current price for July and August is GBP 995 per person per week.
The conditions are that the children must be under 20 years of age and sharing a room (max 2 people per room). For example a family of 5 would get 3 rooms.
Therefore it would be GBP 995 x 3 = GBP 2,985 for 4 people or GBP 995 x 4 = GBP 3,980 for 5 people etc…..
This offer is valid from 30th of June 2013 and finishes 25th August (it does not include the week commencing 25th August).
Children must be able to handle a horse in open spaces at all paces, as Los Alamos do not have any horses smaller than 14 hands high. Riding ability is more important than age.
The riding hours in July and August are not very different from the rest of the year. A typical day would be leaving at 9 getting back around 1pm, this way avoiding the hottest part of the day. Time for a drink and a shower before going out for lunch at around 2pm. Up to and between 3-4 hours riding each day maximum. In the afternoons there is an unheated pool at the villa that families can relax around, and the beach is only a short taxi ride away.
