Sarah Davies

Sarah was a fully qualified financial advisor for Lloyds Banking for 12 years, working both from London, Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester for them during her time. Deciding to eventually follow her hearts desire to work with horses she undertook a complete change of career and left Lloyds to become a work rider for a professional point to point yard. A number of years later she transferred her skills to running the horse-power as stud groom for the Ludlow Hunt, having a yard of 13 fully fit hunters under her sole care & responsibility.

Each weekend she can be found charging her own 2 hunters across the Shropshire countryside and still finds time to ride the Ludlow Hunt horses out most mornings before coming into our offices!

Since joining In The Saddle in 2010, Sarah has ridden in Spain, Botswana and South Africa – however she has also extensively travelled to destinations such as Chile, Peru, India, Kenya and Tunisia to name but a few.

Sarah believes that there is no better way to experience and see a new country than from the back of a horse – she says “a riding holiday is a truly unique way for people to combine three loves in life; horses, travelling and fun!”
