Cathy Holloway

Cathy gained a degree in Equine Studies at Warwickshire College and then completed the British Horseracing Board's Graduate Development Programme before spending four years working at Weatherbys - the administrators of British horse racing.

She then spent nearly four years as Racing Secretary to a trainer of flat horses before leaving the racing game and working as Assistant Manager in a tack shop.

Cathy has three horses - an ex-racer, a rising 4yo that she bred herself and a retired mare.

Cathy says that whilst Africa has got into her blood and will always be high on her list of favourite destinations, she really enjoyed Chile - the scenery in the Torres del Paine National Park was stunning and cantering across endless pampas under the impressive Torres is an experience not to be missed.

Cathy managed to visit South Africa, Jordan and Limpopo in Botswana as a client before joining In The Saddle in 2006. Since then she has visited the Okavango Delta in Botswana and Patagonia in Chile.
