Organising a riding holiday requires a special kind of knowledge and skill - of being able to match the right person with the right riding holiday. Of course, we also need to make all the arrangements to ensure the holiday goes off smoothly and without a hitch.
But you tell us that its our personal service on the telephone helping you choose the right holiday and answering the many questions you might have, which you really appreciate.

Tailormade Holidays
Every single holiday booking we do is tailored to suit you. Even where you are joining a ride which has a set departure, we can arrange for you to go out a day or so earlier or stay longer after the end of the ride. If it is possible, we will arrange for you to have a departure from a regional airport. If you would prefer it, we can also organise only your land arrangements and you book your own flights.
Upgrades to Premium Economy or Business Class can make the long-haul flights more agreeable and we have good rates to upgrade, if you wish.
Within Africa you may wish to combine one or two rides and/or to stay at one of many beautiful safari lodges. In the brochure we've included a few suggested combinations, but these are just that, suggestions, to give you an idea of what's possible and a likely cost at a particular time of year. If you see something appealing, please call us and we can give you a firm quote for what you want to do and for when you want to travel.
Price of Your Holiday
Please note that the information and prices shown in this website may have changed by the time you come to book your holiday. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the website and prices at the time of entering, regrettably errors do occasionally occur. The price of your chosen holiday will be confirmed to you when you make a booking.
Per Person Price
All prices are per person and on the basis of two people sharing a room.
What is Included
Except where otherwise noted, the Ride Price includes accommodation, meals, a horse and tack, the facilities of a guide, transportation of personal belongings on trail rides, camping equipment (but generally not sleeping bags). Full board means three meals a day from dinner on day of arrival to breakfast on day of departure. Lunch may be a picnic or packed lunch. Half board means breakfast and either lunch or dinner. Some holidays include drinks which means reasonable quantities of local wines, spirits, beers and canned soft drinks.
Single Accommodation
The single supplement is shown separately and paying a single supplement will guarantee you a single room. Please note that on some rides single accommodation is not available and you will be expected to share. On some holidays if you are willing to share then no single supplement is charged. On others if you are willing to share and we find you a sharer, then the ride single supplement will be refunded to you.
Transfers
Whether transfers from the nearest airport are included or not is noted alongside the price of each ride. The transfer may be at a specified time only. If you are making your own flight arrangements you must ensure that the flight times will coincide with the transfer times for the rides. Please note that transfer prices are subject to change due to fuel price increases and are not considered part of the package price.
Tipping
Where gratuities to staff are obligatory they have been included in the Ride Price and noted for your information. Otherwise tipping guides, wranglers or other staff is at your discretion, although usually expected. We give guidelines along with your booking confirmation.
All inclusive Prices
An all inclusive price is quoted for longhaul destinations to give you an indication of the total cost of your holiday. It is calculated using our lowest airline contract fares and is on the basis of two people travelling and sharing a room. It includes flights, airport transfers and any additional hotel nights which may be required before or after your ride. There may be a single supplement in respect of the ride and also a supplement in respect of any additional hotel accommodation or airport transfers required.
All inclusive prices are not shown for European destinations due to wide variation in prices. When you enquire, we will quote you based on the best available price for the dates you wish to travel.
Child Discounts, Tailormade Holidays, Groups
Child discounts on the rides have been shown where available. There may also be discounts on the flights for children aged under 12 depending on the airline and we can quote you for these.
Many of the holidays have no set departures and the itinerary is tailormade for you. Please call us to discuss what you want to do and we will try our best to suggest something. We offer discounts for families and groups depending on the size of the group and the ride.
Flights
The lo-cost airlines have greatly increased our options on flights, particularly withinEurope. No longer is it always necessary for everyone to make the trek to London.
We are pleased to advise you on the best route and to book the flights for you; alternatively you can make your own arrangements although before confirming flights, always check with us to ensure your place is confirmed on the ride.
