JACI’S SAFARI LODGES

Jaci’s comprises of two separate eight room lodges in the Madikwe Reserve. The Safari Lodge masterfully blends into its surroundings, with thatched rooms and a magnificent main area built around an ancient termite mound. The Tree Lodge is constructed amongst the Riverine forest on stilts, up to six metres above the ground. Jaci’s is renowned for the quality of its guides and the special programs for children, making it especially good for families.

GARONGA SAFARI CAMP

Garonga offers a safari in the pristine wilderness of the Greater Makalali Conservancy west of Kruger National Park. The wide variety of game at Garonga ensures that you will be pleasantly surprised at what you see, as well as how close the animals are when they are sighted. You are encouraged to follow the tracking experience (almost as exciting as seeing the game) whether by vehicle or on foot. The seven en suite tented rooms are situated on a dry riverbed - each with a wooden deck that commands spectacular views.

ROCKTAIL BAY LODGE

Rocktail Bay lies on the edge of the Maputaland Marine Reserve, a World Heritage Site. The area offers extraordinary diving and snorkelling, including exciting encounters with dolphins and whales. Accommodation is in eleven tree-house chalets, tucked away just inland amongst the trees. During summer the Lodge is integrally involved in the ongoing loggerhead and leatherback turtle research that has been going on since the 1960s. You may be able to accompany the resident turtle expert at night helping to monitor the turtles’ nesting numbers and behaviour.

HONEYGUIDE SAFARI CAMPS

The tented camps of Mantobeni and Khoka Moya are located in Manyeleti Game Reserve adjoining Kruger National Park. Morning and evening game drives in open vehicles bring you into close contact with the Big Five. Highly experienced guides will take you on foot to bring into clear focus the magic of the bush with its myriad of busy insects and resplendent birdlife. Khoka Moya accepts families and offers a children’s program with educational and fun activities for children of all ages.has a rich and diverse ecosystem from the seasonal floodplains of the Okavango Delta to the arid Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. The following camps and lodges combine well with either Macatoo or Kujwana safaris.
