Based at Equus Silvania (please see Equus Silvania web page) you ride out each morning returning to the guesthouse for a warming lunch. Ride up into the forests surrounding Equus Silvania and experience the wonderful views across to snow-capped peaks in the distance. In the afternoon you may wish to ride again or simply relax in front of a roaring fire with a good book.

Mid-week you have a rest from riding and visit either Sibiu, with buildings dating back to the 12th Century, the castle at Bran which is at the centre of the Dracula myth or Sighisoara. Sighisoara is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the best examples of a medieval fortified town.
