Location:

In Northern Tunisia bordering the Mediterranean Sea. The landscape is green and varied. Nearest airport is Tunis.

Weather:

Typical Mediterranean climate with warm dry summers and mild winters. From April to June the temperature will be 25 - 35c. It can be a little hotter in July.

The Riding

You should be confident at all paces riding a forward going horse. The pace is varied to include all paces, including fast canters. You should be fit enough for some long days in the saddle. There is a weight limit of 85kgs.... more »

Olwen Law says: Signs of the ancient Phoenician, Roman and Arabic civilisations abound as you ride through the pine and mimosa covered hills that slope gently to the Mediterranean.

My top tip: Every town has a Souk (market) and they are definitely worth visiting. Good buys are carpets, ceramics and spices. Bargaining is expected!
