This ride starts just outside the outpost town of Cerro Castillo, on the borders of the National Park. Riding local Criollo horses, the majority of which live in the National Park, you follow a circular route through the park where you experience towering peaks, glacial rivers, azure lakes and huge glaciers. With slow riding on the mountain paths and fast riding across the open pampas, each turn of the trail affords a more breath-taking vista than the last. Weather permitting, you get to see the impressive Torres from both the south and the north side of the massif.
Accommodation in the estancias is clean, comfortable and welcoming. All have been chosen for their beautiful locations and unsurpassable views. All meals whilst on the trail are included but drinks are excluded so that you can make your own choice from the selection of fantastic local wines available.
